This basic class will get you started on a lifetime of knitting adventures while experiencing for yourself its benefits! You will learn how to cast on, how to do the knit stitch, the garter stitch, and how to cast off. Students will work towards completing a project of their choice; a headband, a dishcloth, a scarf, or a washcloth. You will need to bring to class a pair of size 8 wooden or bamboo knitting needles (circular or straight is fine), and a skein of light colored yarn. Happy knitting!
