Description

Students will realize how fun numbers can be and learn new ways to enjoy "playing with numbers." They will get to learn new mathematical content and strategies, get to play mathematical games, and get to enjoy the wonders of mathematics. No two days will be quite the same. Playing with Numbers may include Algorithmic Approaches to Figuring Out Guessing Jars, Ciphering Coded Messages, Counting in Alternative Bases, Conscious Counting, Dimensional Pursuits, Number Bingo, Number Machines, Numpardy, Problem Solving Fun, S'Math, Toolbox Math, What Comes Next, etc.
